Jatinga – Assam


Located in the district of DimaHasao in Assam, Jatinga is widely popular for bird suicides. It is said that most of the migrated birds just drop on the roads for death especially between evening to night between 9.30 pm. This takes place only on the dark nights of September and October. These birds drop down by 600 feet. Moreover, it is said that this has been happening for centuries now.

Kodinhi – Kerala

Situated at just 35 km south of Calicut, Kodhini is also called the village of twins. It houses around 2000 families and is popular for its high birth rate of twins. According to the reports, in 2009, this village produced 220 sets of twins and two sets of triplets. This number keeps increasing every year and the mystery behind it is still not known.

Kongka La Pass – Aksai Chin, Ladakh


Located in the most disputed area at the India-China border in Ladakh, Kongka La Pass is considered to be one of the least accessed areas across the globe. Locals believe that there is an unidentified UFO in the underground. People have claimed to see this UFO coming from underground and also seen triangular lighted silent crafts moving upwards.

Roopkund Lake – Uttarakhand

Locals have witnessed unidentified and strange dancing lights that have been named as ChirBatti. These lights change colors varying from blue, yellow, and red and also resemble the shape of a moving ball.

Bengal Swamps – West Bengal


Local fishermen have reported to see ghost lights in the Bengal swamps. Besides, it is believed that whoever follows this light, will lose his way and may even result in drowning. Many people also believe that these lights are fishermen who dies while fishing in the area.

Kuldhara, Rajasthan


This place is also known as ghost town. Located at just 15 kms from Jaisalmer, Kuldhara is said to be cursed by villagers who migrated to other places. This village does not house any families at present and is a wreck place.

Kottayam, Idukki – Kerala


This place claims to witness an unusual red colored rainfall from 25th July to 23rd September in 2001. This news was widely flashed at all news channels and got very popular after a well-known scientists from Mahatma Gandhi University claimed that these colored particles are cells of extraterrestrial.
