Bajaj
is ready to launch its much awaiting super sports bikes in India. These are the
famous faired bikes – KTM RC 390 and RC 200 for Indian youth at an affordable
price. The bike spotted undergoing road test and it is well known and famous.
The launch may happen soon around this September 2014. KTM RC 390 and RC 200
bike showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo event in Delhi.
Engine,
Gears and Performance
Both
these bikes are built on the existing Duke motorcycles design and technically
remains same as their siblings. KTM RC 390 is a powerful sports bike from KTM
packed with 373.2 cc 1-cylinder 4-stroke engine, water-cooled. Engine offers 43
Bhp @ 9500 rpm power and 35 Nm @ 7250 rpm torque on ride. It is mated with 6
Speed manual gears transmission. KTM RC 390 features Wet multi-disc clutch. The
bike offers 89 x 60 mm bore and stroke.
It
is packed with Tubular space frame made from steel, powder-coated chassis and
Liquid Cooling engine. It is a
performance machine rather than fuel efficient bike. So, it is best for
those people who looks primarily for style and performance with power rather
than Mileage.

KTM
RC 390 measures 178.50 mm ground clearance, 1340.00 mm Wheelbase and 10.00
litres Fuel Tank. KTM RC 390 comes with Fully digital instrument console and
offers Low Fuel, oil and battery Indicator. For riders comfort it is equipped
with Alloys, Maintenance Free battery, Tubeless Tyres, Passenger Footrest etc.
Suspension and braking used is best in quality. It also offers Stand Alarm,
Self Start, Step-up Seat, Pass-light etc.
Brakes
and Suspension
There
is good safety options in KTM RC 390 bike. It also features WP-USD Ø 43 mm
front suspension and WP-Monoshock rear suspension. Brakes used in KTM RC 390
are 300mm Disc (ABS) brakes in front and 230mm disc brakes at rear. ABS option
adding to the front brakes, ensures much more stability.

color options The
launch of this bike may happen soon. Various sources says, Dealers across the country already started
booking of these two new super bikes at INR 30,000 in India. There is no
official announcement on launch of the bikes by Bajaj. These two bikes are based on the elder Duke cousins Duke 390 and
Duke 200 that also produced in the Pune plant of Bajaj.
KTM’s
highly anticipated super sport motorcycles the KTM RC 390 and KTM RC 200
launched in India. KTM RC 390 priced at Rs 2.05 lakh and RC200 at Rs 1.60 lakh
(ex-showroom Delhi). These are the faired versions of the Duke 200 and 390
respectively and more heavier than siblings. The weight contributes to the additional weight of the stylish new fairing
and lights.
