Bajaj Pulsar SS400 – one of the best creations of Bajaj
expected to be launched in India by 2015 first half itself. This big
performance machine from Pune-based bike manufacturer gets
a anti-lock braking systems (ABS). The price may be around INR1.9 –
INR2.1 lakh range and makes it the most affordable performance bikes once
it hits the market.

Engine, Gears and Power
Coming with the modified KTM Duke 390 engine, it
offers great power and performance. Bajaj Pulsar SS400 powered by
the Single Cylinder, 4-stroke, Triple Spark engine’. This is a
triple spark plugged engine with less power than KTM to enhance price cut
for Pulsar SS400.
The price cut will be best beneficial thing, so that even
common people can afford a 400cc bike. It gets the engine
with 373.2cc engine displacement and makes 44 Bhp @ 9500 rpm
(Expected) power. Torque produced is 35 Nm @ 7250 rpm (Expected) torque on

Brakes and Suspension
The SS in the name stands for “super sports”. Suspension
used is the Telescopic suspension in front and rear gets Monoshock
rear suspension for stability and safety on ride. Brakes fitted in Bajaj
Pulsar SS400 is a 300mm Disc (Expected) front and 230mm Disc (Expected) in
rear for safety and stability on ride.
Safety and Comfort Features
The bike gets Liquid Cooling engine type and Metzeler
Tyres – wheels. There is good suspension and braking system. One variant is
available with ABS option. It gets Self Start and alloys in addition

Available Models and Colors
Bajaj Pulsar SS400 unveiled first in India, on February 5,
2014 at the 2014 Delhi Auto Expo. The bike expected to be launched in
India by 2015. It will be available in two different models – Pulsar
SS400 and the Pulsar SS400 ABS. You can choose from Red,
Yellow, Blue and Black colour shades.
Price
Along with the Bajaj Pulsar SS400, Company also
launched Bajaj Pulsar CS400. No doubt these two bikes are the hot topics in the
2-wheeler segment.The expected ex-showroom, Delhi price for
the Pulsar SS400 is INR 2.10 lakh. The ABS added model will be available
for INR 2.25 lakh.

Yamaha FZ16 and Honda CBR250R and Honda CBR150R. Bajaj Pulsar SS400
is hard enough to offer sleepless nights for the competitors. Based on the same
